I'm baaaaaack...

Hello everyone!

I have been MIA for quite a while, but now I'm back! Was in a car accident in the middle of December, not my fault fortunately, but it caused an old shoulder injury to flare up. I have been unable to make jewelry, because my right hand is numb - but I've been crocheting like crazy!

Just added a new item to my Etsy and Bonanzle shops - felted wallet coin purses! Here are some pics, let me know what you think!

Craft show was a blast!

I had almost forgotten how much fun it is to do a craft show! It was a perfect, glorious, sun-shiney day - couldn't have asked for better weather to sit outside and do what I love.  :)

The show was part of an all-day music festival at a winery on top of a hill. This was the view out the back of my tent!

All set up and ready for action!

 I tied my clearance scarves to the tent - they looked so pretty fluttering in the breeze! Also, they were more touchable, which I'm sure contributed to their brisk sales.

Here is my pile o' face scrubbies - don't you just want to squeeze them? So cute.

  I had some assorted magnets and a dish of cell phone charms in the middle of the table, between the scrubbies AND...

...the STRETCH BRACELETS!

Turns out my theory was correct - when people see a big pile of something, they feel compelled to look through it! It was so fun watching people find the perfect bracelets, for themselves or as gifts. I will definitely be trying this approach again!

It really was a perfect day. I can't wait to do it again!

IT'S CRAFT SHOW DAY!

Good morning!

I'm up bright and early this morning, because I'm getting ready to go to the Stewartstown Music and Arts Festival today. It's the first show I've been able to be a part of in almost a year, due to my crazy retail work schedule. I am excited, and ready for action!

I'm trying a new technique this time. I made 159 stretchy bracelets, all different, and 70 face scrubbies. I'm going to just dump them into two piles on my table for people to dig through. Hopefully, people will feel compelled to search for hidden treasures! Also made a handful of cell phone charms (well, 26 to be exact), and 84 magnets.

It's already christmas at the craft store. I think i'm going to be sick!
